"I am writing this letter to first thank you for getting the pain in my lower back down to a level which is very tolerable and enables me to go about my normal lifestyle. I would like to share my experience and tell a brief account of what happened to me. I am a NYC Firefighter and was injured in the line of duty while carrying out a large woman at a fire operation. In the process, I herniated two discs in my lower back and one in my upper cervical region. I was on several medications and did months of physical therapy as initial treatment. "I have a history of two severely herniated discs at the levels of 4 & 5 Lumbar vertebrae. I have sustained these injuries approximately six years ago...I was sent by my treating chiropractor for Extentrac treatments after having an adverse reaction to a flexion-distraction disc traction table. In February 1998, I was referred to a surgeon and diagnosed with spinal stenois and
sciatica. At that time, I requested a second opinion and was given the same diagnosis. The
specialist informed me that eventually, I would be losing my body functions, they recommended that surgery would be necessary. I was experiencing severe pain, loss of sleep, and could not walk any normal distance. But prayer changes things, in March 1998, Extentrac decompression was highly recommended by several people, on April 6, 1998, I had my first appointment.
